CakePHP crash puny win-apache

The difference between a windows and linux-system during a softwaredevelopment are sometimes very curious.

Since i use the beta of CakePHP 1.2, i has some nice problems with NULL-objects, who thinks they are a real, instanced object and crash the apache under a windows system. ever and ever again. perfect for a better, cleaner development.

Now, yesterday a came to a problem, that makes mea little bit crazy. The reason: apache crashed. But why, that’s the question i asked myself. after some time of debugging i found the problem on an other part of the program as i think. it seems, that the error-handler, that cake wraps the default error-handler of php, don’t like any windows system. because: right, it crash the running apache-worker if it get called.

currently, i have comment this part of cake’s error handling out. on the debugger.php to be exactly. i hope, in some time, this problem will be solved. by cakephp, by zend (the php binary developer) or apache itself ;).
