Aptana Rad Rails Update: don't push any button!

I was updating yesterday my version of the aptana ide. An incredible, 2 hour bad idea.

I thought, the problems was my 2 year old notebook. Not then brightest shine in the land, but still usefull. So, i updated my aptana version at work: same problem. What a fun.

What happens? The update was for the current version of Rad Rails (0.9.2.6172) . I uptdated. I restarted. I was waiting. Some minutes. Half a hour. Nothing, the eclipse-ide doesn’t respond, because it was trying to update some local gem informations.

Than, switched workspace, disabled Rad Rails, restarted again and was happy to see a full working eclipse .. without rad raisl support of course.

Now, i looking forward for a bug-ticket at aptana :/.
